SANTA BARBARA, CA - One of Russia’s finest five star hotels, the Moscow President Hotel, recently selected Revelation by InfoGenesis to manage all food and beverage transactions throughout the property. ImagePoint Ltd., a reseller of InfoGenesis software working through Hogatex Software GmbH, completed the sale and implementation.

After an extensive technology evaluation, the President Hotel, located in the heart of Moscow on the picturesque banks of the Moscow River, selected InfoGenesis to replace an existing point-of-sale (POS) system. Revelation’s use of advanced Microsoft-based open system technology and the ability to provide a translated product that focused on the specific needs of the President Hotel were key decision factors for management. The hotel also needed an enterprise solution that could manage its remote sites, provide hardware independence, and flexible and detailed paperless reporting.

The President Hotel’s information technology needs extend from fine dining to casual cafes. Seven touch screen terminals, specifically engineered for hospitality and food service operations, are installed at six revenue centers throughout the property to support all food and beverage transactions. Hotel management looked to InfoGenesis not only to streamline transactions, but also to help increase revenue while cutting costs by means of online business analysis and improving guest satisfaction.

With guest satisfaction in mind, InfoGenesis implemented a loyalty program for hotel patrons. The Hotel now issues four levels of discounts cards—bronze, silver, gold VIP, and gold super VIP—to award percentage discounts on food, beverages, and other hotel amenities to returning guests. With Revelation, staff members simply swipe a guest’s loyalty card and discounts appear on the check automatically. Management uses Revelation reports to evaluate the success of each program in driving customer satisfaction, increasing revenue, and ensuring that loyal customers return to the President Hotel.
